CICS 8x8, 4.1. Flash 2 2.0
We had a couple of power fluctuations this past weekend. Client called Monday am stating that if they answered the phone the VM would be heard playing in the background. The weird part is that it wasn't the Company Greeting, but Ext 221's MB greeting. Verified that Greeting #1 is indeed intact. I checked all other programming and only after I rebooted that it returned to working normally.
This am he called again stating that now it was the Company Greeting playing in the background. When I got there I called in several times and it worked normally, then it started going to Ext 221's MB again. Rather than just rebooting the Flash, I also changed the power supply. No change this time.
Deleted then re-added MB 221. (When deleted, caller is told that the ext is unavailable). Verified settings in F982 (even changed Operator Status to/from available. Attendant is Ext 226.) Checked programming again in F983. Deleted all MB's except 222 & 226. Verified Attendant in AA settings as Ext 226.
I even started changing other settings to see if there was a difference. No luck, then I was about to give up for the day it started working properly again.
I think something got fried in the Flash...the main unit or the software? Doubt it has anything to do with the KSU.
If it happens again I plan on swapping out the Flash unless you have any ideas...
