Company Greeting & Identifying Names in Phone Directory

Sorry, two more issues that have been giving me a hard time.

1.) I would like to change the Company Greeting. Is this done through the general_delivery mailbox? The 'Prime' Greeting? I just go in and record it? The greeting is for the main line where customers call and reception has the mailbox.

2.) I have two individuals with the same first name. One is listed in CallPilot Manager with a VM, the other is in reception. When customers call and go through the phone directory, do they hear the voice recording of the individuals or does sit go by the Mailbox list? Tried searching Google and the forums to no avail for this one.

If you are using the system directory of dialng # to reach it then it uses the mailboxes that are inilized for the spelling.It usually uses the last name unless it has been changed to use the first. I would call it to verify how it is set up.
 
Set the CP to use Both instead of first or last for the directory. The voice recording that plays there is the one that you record when initializing the mb. It can be changed in their mailbox by pressing Admin, 1.

As to how to change your main greeting, that depends on how your vm is programmed to answer. Usually, it is changed under f983, but I would call your local tech to see how they set it up.
