Compact on close

I am getting the following message when I close a file,

Table 'TempMySysObjects' already exists

the file is set up to compact on close

Tools, Options, View - check Show System Objects.

In the db window, delete TempMySysObjects.

Tools, Options, View - uncheck Show System Objects.

All should be well.

I am not recieving the message anymore but it is now asking for the password when I close the file.

Is the db normally password protected? If it is, use that.

Otherwise, what version of Access are you running?
