Compact database 1

Does anyone know of a command line utility that can be used to compact a MSAccess97 database on the fly? I need to do something like:
>compact c:\test\eagle.mdb c:\test\eagle.mdb
I tried the jetcomp 4.0 popup but it wont let me use the same database name for the source & destination. I know this is not directly related to CR, but figured someone on this board might know.

there is a vb5 compacter addin which will allow for a database to be compacted in on itself.
You are unable to normally compact a database on itself unless the tools/database utilities/compact database selection
