Communicator through ASBCE no presence/contacts

I've been able to use the exact same communicator with the same fqdn from internal and get full features. when going through asbce, it can make/receive phone calls but no presence or contacts. firewall isnt blocking anything. what am i missing?

You have to create a port forwarding rule in ASBCE to forward the needed ports to OneX Portal. Depending on your release it must be 9443 or 5222.

I've configured these based off a doc for a previous release of sbc and cm. still no dice. anyone know of a soln or doc for 7.2.2 with ipo r11?

9443 will get you the web interface but actual presence and IM service is done via XMPP on port 5223.
Actually One-X portal uses OpenFire as the XMPP engine.
