I have a customer who has a Primary server and a Secondary server.

Users on the Primary site want to work at the Secondary site. They shut down their PCs at the Primary site and go to the Secondary bootup a PC at that site and try to log on the Communicator which is registered to the Secondary server with their User and password they normally use on the Primary.

We are finding that they cannot do this the Communicator will not connect

Is this a feature of SE with Communicator and if it is how do we configer the SE?
We have the domain names configured under LAN 1 etc.
Both Communicators work ok on their local SEs

[cheers]

You'll need to log them into the other server while at the remote site, hotdesking can't really work with softphones as its extn based not user based as a normal phone would be :)

HI Amriddle

We have been told by Avaya that it should work so are raising a ticket with T3.

I like you cannot see how it can work after looking at it. But when you look at out competitors Skype and Shoretel they all do it so our customers expectations are is that is brand new Avaya should do it as well.

ill let you know if we have any luck

[cheers]
