Hello all,
How can I find out what version of Communication Manager I have? I received the PKI email from avaya and I am not sure if I need the update or not.
Thanks,
AB

better than that, run these 2 commands:

telnet or SSH to the IP address of your server, and login, then type this:

cd /etc/opt/ecs/certs/server
openssl x509 -in server.crt -noout -enddate

The PKI Certificate expiration date will display, if it sais "March 11th, 2009", then you need a new PKI Certificate, regardeless of what version of CM you are running. The command for the version is "swversion", FYI

Also, if you have LSPs, you should check those as well

Use the command "list config soft".

it says r012i.02.2.122.0 for one of our connections adn 13x.01.3.640.2 for the other location.

r012i.02.2.122.0 = Communication Manager 2.2.2
r013x.01.3.640.2 = Communication Manager 3.1.3

abruce2137,

Go back and do what Mitch672 said for the linux platform with r013x.01.3.640.2

The other r012i.02.2.122.0 is a g3si platform (PKI) not necessary for it.

Thank you all for your assistance. The PKI update was seamless.
