Hi guys,

It's Session Managers R10.2 spring surprise..

After entering password into the cli, a message appears saying "your account is expired, please contact your system administrator."
I'm resigned to the fact that I'm gonna have to reinstate the ticket. Just curious if anyone else has had this experience, or if you have any idea what's behind it?

Thanks in advance for your insights.

Hi,
Yes, this is "feature" of version 10.x - accounts will expire on SM's, SBC's (what I have already experienced). Don't know about CM, AES.
You can try login with cust on VmWare console but im affraid you have to open ticket and support will enable cust login for you(EASG needs to be enabled) and also can disable account expiration.
For SBC if You know root password You can login on console and enable ipcs account then disable expiration well documented on support site.
SM commands:
chage -M -1 cust - disabling expiration
chage -l cust - check if its disabled

# chage --list cust
# passwd -x -1 cust
# chage -M -1 cust
# chage --list cust

# chage --list root
# passwd -x -1 root
# chage -M -1 root
# chage --list root
