Hey,

I've created an Access 2003 application, but I'm not using the Developers package, so I don't have access to the Common Dialog Control and need to use its functionality.

I found this code online which is supposed to provide the same functionality. I dropped the code into a module and I'm trying to figure out how to properly execute, or call on it.

The code is found at the following link. Any insight on the subject would be much appreciated.

The code you reference contains its own example on how to use it.
The example is the SelectFiles routine.

Basically, you declare a new collection and pass the collection to ShowFileOpenDialog . When ShowFileOpenDialog returns, the collection contains the filename(s) that were selected by the user (or none if she canncelled). IF you want the file dialog to behave differently, you hack the code in ShowFileOpenDialog.

Thank you so much guys.

It functions almost exactly like I need by default, so I should be able to adjust from here no problem.

Cheers!
