I get the following error from CVS (I'm in Eclipse, but I think the problem is CVS).

Code:
The server reported an error while performing the "cvs commit" command.
Aggregation: cvs commit: sticky tag `1.5' for file `graham/TraderBackTester.java' is not a branch
Aggregation: cvs [commit aborted]: correct above errors first!

I can't see how to get rid of this so-called sticky tag. It isn't a tag. It's the version number I'm trying to commit to. It is on a branch (not HEAD) I'm trying to update.

Any suggestion of what to do?

It's saying that you have this file checked out to the version 1.5 - so in your sandbox you need to do an update to the BRANCH TAG that you want to be working on. Then you'll really be working on the branch and able to do the commit.

I hope you'd worked this out by now - but if not I hope that helps.
