Comments on Training by Kimball University

Hi All,

I am looking at attending the Kimball University class: ‘Data Warehouse Lifecycle in Depth’ and would like comments from anyone who has attended a Kimball University class.

Last year, I attended the TDWI world conference in Las Vegas and was impressed with the quality. This year I wanted to try something else. If you have attended or heard from someone who has, I would love to hear about it.

Although I have not attended any Kimball University courses, I have seen Dr. Kimball speak at several vendor sponsored seminars, mostly about ETL tools such as INformatica and Data Stage. He is an excellent speaker and question answerer.

We have sent developers to the specific class you are referring to and it did not live up to his data modeling classes but does cover the basics.
