I'm pretty sure this command exists, but i can't remember it, if you have a persons IP or comp name on a network, is there a command you can enter to view who is logged in at a specified PC?

Thanx a mill

Hi COPP3R,

You can use nbtstat -a (computername) and it should return a bunch of information including the name of the person who is logged in.

Hope this helps... mot98

You can also do a similar thing with Windows NT Diagnostics. Start -> Run -> winmsd, and on one of the menus you can "Connect to Remote PC". Select the remote PC, and the Network tab will tell you all logged in users. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

there is another way that will give all the users at a time in your network

Ther is one utility comes withresource kit "netwatch.exe"

This will give you the shares whcich the users are using on your server.as well on which system they are logged in.
