I am trying to right a batch file that will stop and start certain services, however i need to know the name of certain services running on the system.
I know you can see this from control panel but this does not seem to give the exact name of the service.

I am guessing that this can only be seen from a Command Prompt, in a similar way that you could list services running in UNIX.

Thanks

net start (without parameters) will give you a list of services.
