Hi, I Installed BGInfo a while ago and I like it very much. Just now I am trying to configurate my own personal view and there is no way I can figure out how to address commands /timer:0 and /popup.
I downloaded WMI tools so I could address some parameters to my data I added some more that were missing from the default version but I can´f find a way to get the timer, popup or taskbar commands.
Can somebody please help me with this? I don´t know if I should create a script (or how) and I went to the registry but there not seems to be a key for those commands
Many thanks in advance,

I might have misunderstood your question, but the way I use it, is with a reference in Run in Registry and the command BGInfo.exe /timer:0
That seems to update the info for every start in a "quiet" mode.

/timer and /popup are command line statements, and not registry or configuration file statements.

/timer: Specifies the timeout value for the countdown timer, in seconds. Specifying zero will update the display without displaying the configuration dialog. Specifying 300 seconds or longer disables the timer altogether.

/popup Causes BGInfo to create a popup window containing the configured information without updating the desktop. The information is formatted exactly as it would if displayed on the desktop, but resides in a fitted window instead. When using this option the history database is not updated.

Then I think my problem is that I don´t know how to create a command for this two orders....
Can somebody write the line for me and tell me where to write it?

I did go into Registry and wrote the commands down into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Winternails\BGInfo and then added a couple of REG_SZ With BGInfo.exe /timer:0 and BGInfo.exe /TASKBAR but its not working so I´ll appreciate very much if someone tells me how to create commands and where.

I´m into it...I´m into it....

Rather than just place the program in the Startup Folder, put the program somewhere else (Program Files, perhaps) and create a shortcut to the program and place the shortcut into the Startup Folder.

In the shortcut, the target line would read:

bginfo /timer:0 /popup

Problem Solved !!!!
Thank You very Much,
I owe you a [cheers]or[stpatrick2]

This thing got me 48 hours thinking of how to come up with the right command...[bugeyed]
