I only have a single IP Office instance - is there any way to launch Manager.exe and have it automatically select it?

In preferences, I already have "Auto connect on start up" selected, and I've experimented with the Discovery tab settings; I currently have the discovery IP range of only two IPs - the appliance, any the PC running IP Office Manager Pro.

Thanks for that - still no joy.

If you have time, would you share a shot of the Discovery tab?

My test system is at 10.254.30.231, and I often am staging a system using a 2nd NIC card on 192.168.43.299, so I have these 2 entries in my discovery

Because our production system is on the same network as my test system, I still have to select the system to connect to, instead of it coming up to the login prompt

You have your NIC configured with 192.168.43.299? Then you're are real hacker [bowleft]

Two discoveries today (I just couldn't get this "it must be possible question out of my head).

1) Turning on Auto Connect on start up, turning off TCP discovery and setting the UDP broadcast address to just one of my IP Office systems addresses didn't seem to work. But after a full PC reboot suddenly it all worked, ie. Manager went straight to the login for that system (not sure if you have to go that far but I had to reboot the PC to fix another issue).

2) Some progress with the manager.exe switches (from watching what web manager did to launch IP Office Manager). The bad news is it seems to be for Server Edition mode only. Add /launch:BusinessEdition /ip:<address> /user:<username> /password:<password>. The user and password parts are optional.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I'll reboot the PC running VMPro and report back.

Thank you everyone for brainstorming this with me!

This worked!

"Turning on Auto Connect on start up, turning off TCP discovery and setting the UDP broadcast address to just one of my IP Office systems"

Thank you folks!
