Hi there

forgive me but i'm new to lotus notes and i've tried everything else! All i want to do is add someones email address in an email and make it a link. In microsoft outlook you just do

mailto:email@mail.com

and it comes up as a hyperlink that opens up a new mail message with the email address inside.

Can this be done in notes?

Thanks

Hello m8,

I just stick a hotspot on an email and then insert a mailto: in the hotspot properties and this seems to work fine for me.

regards

John

Hi,

the easiest way to do this is just writing

mailto:xyz@mydomain.com

into the mail. Notes converts it into a link

FYI: The text in the outgoing email will not appear to be a link, but once the message is sent, it will recognize it as a link.
