On a CP-PM CS1000E, is there a simple way of providing comfort tone to a held caller rather than just silence?

Cheers

Yeah I had thought of that but I dont want to get into the arguement over what music to play! ;-)

Recording of beeps that are comforting?

Yes I know . . I am just full of knowledge today!

Ok, so here is the plan, I am going to attach a mic to a DC5/AC15 and employ a person to say beep occasionally!

The Meridian PBX does not come with the feature you are requesting. That is a feature more inherent to a key system. You will have to provide some kind of MOH.

(although, I liked your last idea there!)
