Most Comdial switches use I*746* to log in with a laptop. At extension 10, the password is usually Intercom *#746*. I assume the password has been changed, which will be a problem if you aren't eligible for Comdial Tech Support (read "authorized dealer". The procedure is to have the customer, on his letterhead, authorize Comdial Tech Support to default the password. Then, you need to connect a modem to the phone system communications port. Comdial will call the modem and default the password. I don't know of any other way.
