Most Comdial switches use I*746* to log in with a laptop. At extension 10, the password is usually Intercom *#746*. I assume the password has been changed, which will be a problem if you aren't eligible for Comdial Tech Support (read "authorized dealer"
. The procedure is to have the customer, on his letterhead, authorize Comdial Tech Support to default the password. Then, you need to connect a modem to the phone system communications port. Comdial will call the modem and default the password. I don't know of any other way.
