Combos won't refresh in Access

Hi,

I'm using MS Access to Postgres via odbc. The application in question makes use of the MS Access Tab Folder object. When new records are added to a particular tab's subform, they should be impacting the rowsources for combo boxes on the subsequent tabs. This is indeed the case, but only after I do a manual refresh from the records menu. Programmatically, refresh and requery does'nt seem to work. Any suggestions?

What happens if you reset the rowsource of those controls?

I not sure but I did get results by adding a requery in a procedure and referencing the proc from OnGot focus at the combobox in question. The problem now seems to be that neither OnGotFocus or any of the other events seem to fire with the frequency I like. Some fire too infrequently, leaving the combo unrefreshed. Others fire too often, slowing the application down or even crashing it.
