Combobox in datagrid not functioning for one user

I have a program that is installed on six different users machines, and it works exactly as I want it to for five of them. But, on one users computer, the datagrid isn't functioning properly. The first field in the datagrid is a time field and when the user hits tab it skips over the next column which is a combobox. Then, if I manually click on the combobox and type a letter then press the down arrow, instead of going to the first item that starts with that in the combobox it jumps down to a new row and only leaves a single letter in the combobox. sounds like they had a similar problem, but I tried it to no avail, unless I'm not putting it in the right place. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

What is different about this machine??
Check for o/s and Service Packs, and also check the version of the .Net framework on the rogue machine

I know they all have the same version because I just downloaded onto their pc's. They all have 2000 and I think they all have service pack 4. Any other ideas?
