Combo Card error 2

I have an IP500v2 7.0.5 and am getting the following error. Note the prior and current rollout of cards in the IP500v2 chassis. Error is on the newly installed combo card in slot 4, which replaced a previously installed Phone2 card).

Before, no errors:
DS8
DS8
Phone2
Phone2

Now, with errors ("Internal Module fitted with invalid daughter card: Combo Phones/VCM, slot 4.")
DS8
DS8
Phone2
Combo Card (6/2/4/10)

I have not been aware of any issue with this configuration, but nonetheless, the present error. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, the daughter card in the DS8/slot 1 = PRI24 and the daughter card in the DS8/slot 2 = ATM4U

There are some newer Combi cards that require a higher release of formware than 7.0.5, you must have on of those

No kidding. Thanks much for the quick reply, that is the issue. Now, need to secure the fancy "upgrade license!" No more freebie 1.3 to 5.0.26 hops, LOL.

Why would that be? Are upgrades *within* major releases (e.g., 7.0.5 to 7.0.23) free?

Yes, it's only major releases that are charged 6.1 > 7.0, 7.0 > 8.0 etc, minor releases are bug fixes for Avaya silliness like this

upgrade to 7.0.(23) it will work

you will need the patch if you use 7.0.23 mainly for the embedded voicemail, 7.0.12 works well
