Combo box forces update when user "clicks off" the record.

Minor issue, but it seems to be really odd behavior. . .I have a combo box where I select an ID and other text boxes are updated based on my selection. The text boxes, though, are only populated when the user clicks on a new record (the form is set up as a datasheet). Is there a way to have the textboxes update upon enter? Like I choose ID 4 and hit enter and the form updates all of my other fields.

Where do you have the code which does the updating, in the after updfate event of the combo box control, or in the after update event of the form ?
