Combo Box Calculations 1

I have a report containing a combo box for record status. My report is grouped by record status and I have group totals for each. Now I need to group various combinations of those values and count the number of records meeting only those criteria. For example: status = "active","inactive","on hold","settlement pending", and "to be answered."

How many "on hold" and "settlement pending" records are there; how many "inactive", "on hold" and "settlement pending", etc.?

Try, in either the Group Footer or Report Footer, depending upon where you want the count to appear...

=Sum(Abs([Status]="active")) + Sum(Abs([Status]="on hold")) etc.
