Thank you in advance. I know this is probably and easy question but I just can't figure it out.

Crystal Reports XI Release 2

I have a report that is currently showing this:

Fund Amount
0001 1500
0001 2000
0001 500
0002 1500
0002 2000
0002 500

I need it to look like this:

Fund Amount
0001 4000
0002 4000

So I just need the report to combine that fund column to output a total of all the funds in the amount column.

Thanks!

Insert a group on fund, and then right click on the amount field and insert a sum at the group level. Drag the groupname into the group footer. Then suppress the detail section and group header.

What if I have that data twice on the report, with the fund and corresponding amount field only showing if a certain field equals something. So one part would be if Field(Not Fund or Amount)="0" and the other would be ="1". Then I can't do it this way can I? I would need to do a subreport?

For example the complete report would look like this:

Report 0 (if Field=0)

Fund Amount
0001 4000
0002 4000

Report 1 (if Field=1)

Fund Amount
0001 4000
0002 4000

Then you just need a Group #1 on the formula that distinguishes the two, and then the group on fund would be your Group #2.

Okay thanks, I'll give it a try on Monday.
