Combining Data in Excel 2003

Good day!

I need to combine data in several hundred rows in excel. Here is an example:

USA 5
USA 9
Argentina 10
Argentina 11

How do I make excel combine the two USA numbers and two Argentina numbers together to look like this?

USA 14
Argentina 21

Any help is appreciated!!!

Hi,

I assume that the countries and values are in different columns. If not, use Data/Text to columns... to parse

Use the Data/Subtotals... feature and select sum on breaks in country.
