Hi there,

Can you please help with this question...it may be a stupid one, but unfortunately I don't know it!

I need to know how many CPUs a Solaris server has. How can I find that out? In addition, what is the max number of CPUs a web server can contain?

Email me at tmacdonell@hotmail.com.
Thanks so much!

Solaris is truely scalable, you can have as many CPU's as the computer on the web is capable ... i believe someone out there has a few machines with thousands of cpu's on it ...

however you do have to check your license agreement before using more than 8 ...

will look into the command for cpu's for you ...
