Is there a max width the column can be in excel. I have a worksheet and it has a column width of 69.71 and will not open anymore unless I double click....the row height is 165.75. There is more text in the field but if you widen it then close the worksheet when you open it back up you can not see all the text. Any ideas?

I tried XL and it says the cell max can't be more than (409x255)?
You could write a macro to establish your sizes to maintain them since they seem to lose the values?

Sub CellSize()

Cell(your row, your col).RowHeight = YOUR SIZE

Cell(your row, your col).ColumnWidth = YOUR SIZE

End Sub

Is there a way to display more than 1,024 characters(ie...they want to print this document out and they want all the text to show...the largest cell has approx 2500 text characters).

Sorry getting all that info is the best I can do, i can't keep up! I can only suggest utilizing the comments field(no don't know limits nor could I find specs) or presumably not using XL, thinking maybe should convert to access. Tranpkp
