I am using Illustrator 10 on Syatem 9.2.
When I assign (Pantone Green U) to an object I am getting two different readings? In swatches it is reading 100 Cyan,0 Magenta,59 Yellow,0 Black. When I actually click on Pantone Green U in the color selector it is reading 95 Cyan,5 Magenta,56 Yellow,1 Black.

What is the difference? What is the true color when this is being printed?

Thank you for your time!

Make sure you are converting your Pantone Green striaght to CMYK you should then get an accurate reading, however if you convert it to RGB then to CMYK your percentages will be different. But don't ask me why!!! for some reason RGB adds a reddish hue on everything, more then likely ot compensate for the way it is used.

Thanks for the info.
I am only working in CMYK and converting only to CMYK?
This is a mystery to me????
