I 've got 20GB HDD with three partitions. Now i want two partitions only of 10GB each.
any help in this regard(i 'm a newbie) or any web site that provides enough info to accomplish this task will do.
thanX in adv.
if you dont need to save the data on the partitions then its not hard to do. However if you need to keep the data IT not at all easy thing to do But quite Posible..
if you want to lose all your data just delete the partitions in fdisk, when booted from a bootable diskette. then recreate the partitions the way you want them, format and install the windows.
If you dont want to lose all your data get the program partition magic. it can do what you want. js error; 67 on line; 36 of signature.class
Boot with 98 startup disk.
Run fdisk.
Delete all partions (probably non-dos partitions).
Reboot with Win2k cd and create your primary partition to install into as 10Gb.
When Windows in running you can create another partition of 10Gb in disk manager.
