Collections in secondary site not updating 1

I have a central site and a primary child site. All was working, but now for apparently no reason the collections don't contain machines added to the collection at the central site level.

Can anyone suggest why the collection membership isn't being sent to the child site?

The collections of the primary will only contain clients from its boundaries, and will not include memebers of the Central site servers boundaries

That's not exactly what the problem is, another example: If I look in 'all 2000 server systems' on the central site all the servers show up as clients. However, if I check the same collection in the child site then only one shows up as a client.

Do you have overlapping boundaries? That will make for a load of goofy results.

That said still your server results make sense.

Lets say you have 10 servers, 5 are SMS clients that fall into the central site boundaries, and 5 fall into the Primary child site boundaries.

On the Central site you will see 10 servers listed, however on the Child Primary site you will only show 5 listed.

All inventory get sent up from lower levels in the hierarchy, but the Central site doesnt send inventory down to lower levels (child sites)
