Hi all,
In the vector, I collect 10 digit number, then I do
"route-to" that number.

But as you know, to make external calls I have to put "9"
as first digit.

For example,
the caller enters 0-555-1212 and Definity makes the call
by dialing 9-0-555-1212.

How to do this ?

Thanks in advance and my best regards,

Okay, here's my two cents worth.
It sounds to me like you are letting people call into your switch to a specific VDN and then letting them dial a long distance number.
I would strongly suggest against doing this. You could get into all kinds of problems, toll fraud, war-dialers etc. This kind of thing would cost your company a WHOLE LOT of money before you finally figured out how/what was runing up your long distance bill.
If this is not what you are trying to do, give a little more in the explanation.

I agree LittleJohn, this is very dangerous. We have some vdn's/vectors set up that do indeed route to an external offnet phone number when the vdn extension is dialed. BUT, i have all of these vdn's set up in a vector routing table that is checked after each "collect 4-digit" is executed. If they entered a vdn extension that dials an offnet number, they are disconnected.

Hi again,
I completely agree with you, about your suggestions.
But that VDN is not a DID number, it will be accessed
if and only if series of auth. codes are entered in IVR.
All of the internal calls are reported via CTI.

So, can I add "9" to the head of the collected digits
and then outpulse this number.
