Hi guys, can anyone advise me -
We have a development server with CF MX7 on that is causing problems with caching - pages are refreshing as you would expect even when F5 or CTRL+F5 is hammered on the keyboard!

Is there some setting we have missed? I have checked the administrator and found nothing that works - trusted connections unchecked in the caching section, also the ODBC of the database in question is unckchecked for maintinaing connections.

I have trawled the web and nothing is helping!!
Any suggestions?
Nicola

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Perhaps it is not a coldfusin issue, but rather that your browser has that page cached locally? Make sure your browser is set to look for new versions of the page on every visit.

Here is article that gives some steps on how to do this (in IE):

Hiya,

I think we have managed to solve this - or rather found the problem.

Additional to the post i originally submitted, I found that the problem wasnt happening to me but a colleague working on my pages - using dreamweaver 8, while i was using MX 2004 version.

So the problem seemed to be using version 8 - heis now using 2004 for the time being while we get this project out of the way and can spend more time on solving the problem!

Any suggestions as the difference between the two versions of Dreamweaver??
