Cognos8 BI release 8.2

Do you know if there is a date planned for a forthcoming version like an major release for Cognos8 BI 8.2

I want to upgrade my cognos 8 BI 8.1 mr2 to the next version soon but not if a major relase is planned to be release.

Hi,

Cognos don't pre-announce their release schedules so unless you are one of their employees, you're not going to be able to find out officially when the next release will be and what it may contain. Past experience has shown that Cognos tends to issue maintenence releases periodically, but major point releases are not so frequent.

Cognos 8 BI version 8.3 will be in beta shortly .....
