Cognos ReportNet - Source Control

1>Is there a way of using a source control with report studio and query studio files? We will have more than one developer working on reports and we do not accidentally want them to overwrite the reports other person is working on on the server. Also, if I want to go back to the previous versions of my report then I need a source control system.

I know that with FrameWork manager we could use a source control.

There is not built in functionality within report studio to source report specs - I think it is a big drawback of the system. What you can do is locally save the xml file and manually upload into a source control system. Only problem is you need disciplined programmers to only make changes to reports after check out because they can always just make changes to the xml saved in the content store db. Anyone have a better solution? I would be interested in knowing a better way as well...
