Ideally I would like to have one report with data from two reporting periods, which would be user prompted.

Something like:

Product | Curr Mo Bal | Prior Mo Bal | Change
Pernsup | 300 | 500 | 200
Widget | 100 | 200 | -100

All data is coming from one view: HISTORY_VW

Any help is appreciated.

If Curr Mo Bal & Prior Mo Bal refer to the same view column you can define 2 queries and join over Product within the report. this nets a 3rd query which allows the calculation for the change column.

Thanks. I am giving it a try now. I'd like to add another data item to the crosstab. I'd like to see Value and Count. However, the count is not based on the Product level, it's based on the individual Accounts that belong to the Product.

something like:

Product | Curr Mo Bal | Curr Count | Prior Mo Bal | Change
Pernsup | 300 | 10 | 500 | 200
Widget | 100 | 20 | 200 | -100

If the resultsets are small, then it will probably work to use the 3rd result query as input for a join with a 4th that performs the count resulting in final query 5 to build the crosstab!!
