Cognos Report Net 1.1/Importing Samples Problem

Hi All,

I am new to Cognos reportnet and i installed CRN 1.1 on windows xp. I am able to configure and am getting crn page..

Now i want to import sample data base..I created a user with Resource/Connect and dba privilages...

I am trying to imp the sample data base which is given by reportnet to the newly created user...

My problem is with which user i need to import the data base.
I have oracle 9i on my system and i am using imp utility

imp fromuser= usrname/pwd touser=username/pwd file = file name...
(if i try system/manager its saying "system" is not a user in exported file)
What is the user for fromuser ?

imp file=gosl.dmp fromuser=gosl (at userid/password prompt enter gosales/gosales)
imp file=gort.dmp fromuser=gort (at userid/password prompt enter goretailers/goretailers)
imp file=gosldw.dmp fromuser=gosldw (at userid/password prompt enter gosalesdw/gosalesdw)

Thanks for the reply..But its not working.

I copied all the database files to a new directory in d drive under db. d:\db\<all the files..>
I created a user mycrn with same password in oracle with required permissions
and now at command prompt am tryign to import..

So now pls. explain me what i need to give...inorder to import the samples...

You are specifying from user. What about touser ?

pls answer me..

From the cmd on the server:

imp mycrn/mycrn@orcl file=d:\db\gosl.dmp fromuser=gosales touser=mycrn
imp mycrn/mycrn@orcl file=d:\db\gort.dmp fromuser=goretailers touser=mycrn1
imp mycrn/mycrn@orcl file=d:\db\gosldw.dmp fromuser=gosalesdw touser=mycrn2
