Cognos Impromtu error message

My user gets an error message of "This report is locked by another user or is read only. A copy will be made."

There is no other user using the reports and none of the reports are read only. This is on a newly installed machine. Have I missed something in the install or the setup?
 
We had something similar on our machine and it had something to do with user rights on OS level... (we have windows 2003) One of my colleagues changed of the settings, and now it works fine...

Maybe you should look into that...?

To disable this message, add the following line to the Impromptu.ini under [Startup Options].

Open lock warning message=0

The file is usually found under c:\Program Files\Cognos\cer4\bin (if using pre-7.3 look in cer3).
