Hello,

We just installed ReportNet. Here is my problem:
I have an end-user that wants to be able to see several Cubes and/or PowerPlay Reports (either PPRs or PPXs) all on a SINGLE page. I was able to Integrate Upfront into ReportNet, but all that does is allow me to access 1 cube/report at a time. Is there a way to add a Cognos Cube or PowerPlay Report as a DataSource? Or is there another way to solve my problem?

Thank you!

At this time there is no way to directly import PowerPlay metadata into ReportNet.

Is there any way to import Improptu Reports, as either IMRs or IQDs, into ReportNet? I have several reports that my Cubes uses, that I think that if I got them into ReportNet as DataSources I could re-create what I need. I have tried copying and pasting the SQL from an IQD into a Query Subject. However, the query subject fails to validate the RDIFF (Running Difference) function in the IQD.

Thank you.

You can currently import your catalogue to Framework Manager , but as far as I know you can not import the report themselves.

Is there an ETA? I have several (high ranking) end users that are getting impatient for the ability to see many cubes / reports all on one page.

Thanks for your response.

Shhhh ... they're looking at a possible Summer release for this ... but you didn't hear it from me. :)

Just to clarify, Impromptu reports Summer 04. PowerPlay reports Spring 05.

Are PowerPlay Cubes in with PowerPlay reports (Spring 05)?

flex13,

Anything more you hear on this would be greatly appreciated by the Impromptu user community here. Keep the pipeline open! [thumbsup]

You'll be able to build from cubes directly. Much like the way that SAP works with ReportNet.

Hi,

There is a technics to see PP reports(cubes)as link in ReportNet
Insert a HTML item.
Type the next in it:
<iframe frameborder="0" src=" style="overflow:hidden;border:solid 1px #000000" height="500" width="100%"> </iframe>
(the cube url is in iframe tag)

Regards
