Cognos and Windows XP 2

Hello

I would like to know that : Cognos Powerplay 6.6 can run in Win XP? Because i have Impromptu 6 in win XP and i have no PB yet !

As far as I can tell it runs on Win 98, 2000 only. To get XP you need Cognos ver. 7. Our network guys tried many times to get cognos 6 running under XP with no sucess. It runs great under 98 & 2000.

Cognos only supports Windows XP for Series 7 MR1 and higher

Cognos Powerplay, Impromtu and Transformer can all be used under Windows XP, even though Cognos officially does not support them.

How?

Within XP its possible to adjust the properties of a program so that it 'thinks' that its running under Windows 2000. This is done by right clicking on the prog.icon and selecting the compatibility option.
