Cognos 8 - Cube Rebuild

We are planning to migrate our platform from Series 7 to Cognos 8. One thing though will remain: we should be still using powerPlay 7.3 to generate our cubes.

I know that Framework Manager can generate IQD files. Will these IQD Files be compatible with PowerPlay in order to rebuild the cubes ?

Yes, you can use IQDs generated by FM in PowerPlay Transformer.

Cognos8 actually used Transformer 7.4 to build cubes, even though it has been branded as Cognos8.
