I need to write some code to save the current Autofilter state, then clear all filters, then do some stuff I've already written, then, finally restore the original autofilter state.

All help appreciated!

Take a look at the help file and look up Advanced Filter.

You can then use VBA to save/change/delete the criteria in the cells which is pretty straight forward,

Steve,

I can email you an example file I developed that has 7 buttons (with code attached) that allow for data manipulation such as:
- Filtering in place,
- Deleting filtered records,
- Extracting records
- Showing all records

The file also demonstrates how to properly set up the criteria for filtering and extracting data, including notes within the file.

I hope this will help :)
