I have a form reference of SalesMain and the code is automatically correcting it to salesmain. It is decapitalizing SalesMain. It is fine for any other word. It only decapitalizes SalesMain.

I have opened up other databases and it works fine on other databases.

Is there an autocorrect feature in the MS VB code editor?

What the heck?

Alright. This is goofy. I reopened after about 3 hours and all of the salesmain references changed to SalesMain right before my eyes.

Now while I am typing code, sometimes the "s" in some words switches between small case and upper case.

What the heck is going on?

Yes, there is. Type

Dim dteDate

Followed by

dtedate=#19/10/07#

And watch what happens.

You can also try

strx="A"

Followed by

strX="A"

Tips: use the Option Explicit instruction and compile often.

Hope This Helps, PH.
