I am on a networked computer and this error comes and goes sometimes when I open or print from Word. Any ideas for a permanent fix?

My head should have stopped hurting by now.

Seems you have an auto execute macro or an add-in or a com add-in that is causing you grief. You need to find if any of these exist, disable one by one and see which one may be the culprit.

For the headache, I have medication I could sel.....

When you mention error messages, please state error number (if possible), and the full text of the message.

From the body of your post, all I have is "this error". Can I assume it is your subject line?

"code execution has been interrupted error in ms word"

Is that all? Nothing else?

Further, you mention "permanent fix". That seems to imply you have a temporary fix. Um....what is it? It seems to imply that you do something to keep on going. What is it?

You get better answers if you give better information. As it stands we have very little to go on.

fumei, while i realize that nothing is "permanent" whether I apply a temp fix or not is irrelevant. Um...if you look at the fullness of the first thread above, you might find a problem on your end as to the truncation you refer to.

xlhelp, thanks. but what i tried first is holding shift while opening. No error then. Then I closed word and opened again.....and the error seems to be gone.

Say what?

WHAT fullness?

No error number (the "fullness" is less. no?)

No full text - or at least you do not state it is the full text of the error message. (the "fullness" is less. no?)

No version of Word is stated. (the "fullness" is less. no?)

No mention of whether you get the error, but Word does load. Or you get the error and Word fails to load. Rather relevant don't you think? (the "fullness" is less. no?)

Do you have a problem with giving full details?

You don't even clearly state if it is fixed. You state you used Shift when opening, and no error. Closed Word, and then re-opened, no error.

Are you saying that this has made a permanent fix? If you restart the computer, and restart Word, do you get the error....or not?

Sorry, you may think you see fullness, but I did read the first thread, and it does not seem that way to me.

However, since you have made a permanent fix and solved the problem, that is good.
