Has anyone been able to get around the Microsoft Outlook Security Patch that disallows outside programs from sending emails. We had this function working and now we get the dialog box not allowing the mail to go.

We had this same problem. There is a document available which explains how to get around it. Basically, you have to add a registry setting to the user's machine and install a security form in a public folder in Outlook. You can create a group which has the "stop programs sending emails" disabled and then add people to that group.

Check out "OL2000: Administrator Information About the Outlook E-mail Security Update" at
Hope that helps

Thank you Daren, this is exactly what I could not find for some reason. Now all I have to do is convince Corporate to build the Public Folder.
