Hi all, do you have any idea how to fix this error, I've Micros 5.2 with Windows 2008 server 8gb ram 220ssd and 1tb hdd
This happens when I try Report Explorer stock on hand,Inv Ítem Trans Journ and still Inventory Count Variance, not happened before

Thnxs in advance

Is it just on that one report, and is it customized? The error messages in the new report viewer are about the worst I've ever seen in any program.

You can try turning up the verbosity for the report engine and see if anything helpful is written to the 3700d log. I've seen the name to a failing formula written in there a few times.

Hi pmegan first of all, let me tell you that I was in Micros Res 3.2 versión then I migrate/upgrade to the 5.2 versión
I don't know what's the problem, because with 3.2 it was fine

The reporting in Res 3.2 was much more forgiving than Res 5. Small discrepancies in the report templates would often be skipped over, but now every little thing causes the report to fail. If the report was edited for 3.2, you may have to verify the database in crystal reports, or find a formula with an error that's no longer being skipped over.

usually its the report templates as pmegan stated above basically from micros point of view the template is being overloaded with data that coming through , you can also uncheck the use list option on the template and see if it will help, it works for me a couple of times before

Hey pmegan, do you mean turn up the verbosity in sql for the reports?
