Is COBOL supported under the AIX operating system?

I know of one Cobol package for AIX, it used to be from MicroFocus, then Merant bought 'em, but I think Merant spun them off again, so I don't know exactly where to find them now. I hope I've at least given you a start in finding what you're looking for.

IBM markets a COBOL Set for AIX, which probably is just a repackaging of the MicroFocus/Merant/??? product. For more info, go to IBM's web site and search for cobol + AIX.

Micro Focus/Merant still sells and supports COBOL on AIX. You can get the COBOL directly from Merant.
