Hello,

I support a small office with an IP Office 406. The 4 sales reps each have a POTs line for direct calls. When they are on a call and receive a second call, the second caller receives a busy because the channel is busy. Is there a way to configure this analog trunk to go to voicemail if busy?

This office also has an 8 line hunt group that is used for general inbound calls to the main number as well as used for outbound calls.

Thanks for any feedback.

If a analog line is busy then the provider send busy to new callers to that line. IP Office is not involved in this.

need to add more lines from the providor and have the providor make them into a hunt group.

You could also "call forward on busy" each of the personal lines to the main line hunt. That way, if a user is on their private line, the call will route to the main number. This is then anwered however your main line calls are answered and can then be transfered back to the person's extension to leave a voicemail. This is done through your provider.
