CO line not supposed to ring. Now ringing. How to set to NO RING. 2

ACS-R7 Partner system. I have all the manuals but NOT enough experience to know what all the terms mean. Immediate problem is: One CO line is NEVER supposed to ring. It sometimes is connected to a fax machine. Today the line began ringing when called. I did a 125 internal restore and it did not fix it. How do I set CO line 3 to not ring?
 
From Ext. 10 or 11

Feature 00
Left Intercom Twice
Right Intercom Once
Dial the extension number you want to change
Press the line button until the light next to it "flutters" fast, and the display indicates No Ring
Right Intercom Once
Dial the next extension number and repeat
When finished, Feature 00
 
TouchToneTommy...Thanks so much for your kind response. But I don't think I made myself clear concerning the problem. I have three incoming phone numbers. Numbers 1 and 2 ring at all phones correctly. However incoming line number 3 is not supposed to ring anywhere at all. Is the only way to cause this to happen is to program every extension? I just want to be sure before I start with this fix. Thanks again!!
 
Yes, the ringing of lines is programmed on a per-extension/per-line basis. So you must set it to No Ring for all of the telephones, and since you say it is a fax line, and if you have a fax machine connected as an extension, that one must be set to Immediate Ring on the fax line, and No Ring on the other 2 lines.

Doing that programming should take less time than it took to write this reply!!
 
By default all lines ring all phones and each phone can have each line set to one of three ring types. Immediate, delay or no ring. So........do what tommy said.
