Hello all,
I am working on an installation where when a user dials "9" they get directly connected with an available CO line and hear the CO lines dialtone, not system dialtone. This would be just like how on a Partner system when you are on the Intercom and dial 9 you immediately get connected with the CO line and hear its dialtone. Please if possible let me know if this can be done and what short codes that might need modification. The system is an IP403 version 3.2.
Also for this installation their is an alarm system and another analog device not connected to the phone system directly but using the same Line 1 that goes into the Phone system. Is IP Office able to check and see if the Line is in use even if the line is not in use on IP Office? I mean, if the alarm system tries to dial out, and I user picks up the phone and dials 9 to get outside, will IP office give them line 1 instead of a free line?
Thanks for the help on this.
